Nottinghamshire Police remain focused on delivering excellent service in 2015
This past year has been hard for policing with challenging cuts putting greater demands on the fight against crime. However, the officers and staff of Nottinghamshire Police have adapted well to the plans put in place for dealing with the funding situation, doing all they can to ensure that the force’s standards remain high.
Once again, we approach the coming year with the expectation of more challenges. We aim to respond to these with yet more new ways of working that will help us to improve the delivery of our services. It’s about giving our very best to ensure that our communities stay safe despite the economies that are forced upon us.
Keeping safe is important for everyone. We can all help to do that during the festive season by stowing our gifts and purchases out of sight – whether in the car or at home. It’s often the simplest things that we forget, so please remember to lock your doors and windows when going out, keep an eye on your neighbours’ homes and stay alert for those who seek opportunities for crime.
I wish you all a safe and happy Christmas and a peaceful 2015.
