Mystery Shoppers work as volunteers for the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner and support the Commissioner in a range of activities to review and evaluate the customer service and engagement process of Nottinghamshire Police.
The purpose of Mystery Shopping is to provide information to the Police & Crime Commissioner to help him review the quality and delivery of policing in Nottinghamshire. This is intended to assist the organisation to focus on customer service improvements by providing them with information on the quality of their current service. The idea is that Mystery Shoppers act as customers and undertake a series of agreed tasks which monitor the quality and delivery of customer service. They will then report back on their experiences in a detailed and objective way.
| Update - March 2017|
Currently Mystery Shoppers are listening to 101 recorded calls as a customer service exercise and will shortly be piloting an exercise where they speak to victims of crime to find out whether they have been treated by the police in accordance with the Victims Code.
