Chris Cutland and Paddy Tipping
Police and Crime Commissioner Paddy Tipping is inviting local businesses and voluntary organisations to a special event in Mansfield to give him their views on his Draft Police and Crime Plan.
They are being invited to join him and his Deputy, Chris Cutland, at the Pleasley Landmark Centre, Chesterfield Road North, Mansfield, NG19 7SP on Tuesday 5th February at 6pm. This meeting was originally due to take place in January but had to be rearranged due to poor weather conditions.
The draft plan – which can be viewed here – will be discussed at the meeting, with the main focus being on Mr Tipping’s key priorities.
These priorities include protecting, supporting and responding to victims, witnesses and vulnerable people; focusing on local areas most affected by crime and disorder; reducing the impact of substance misuse on levels of crime and antisocial behaviour; preventing offending and re-offending; improving the efficiency of criminal justice; and spending your money wisely.
In line with his determination to be very much the People’s Commissioner, he urges people across the county to share their views on his priority areas and take part in his online survey by the 15 February.
If you work for a local business or voluntary organisation and would like to come along to the meeting contact Jackie Nash at the Nottinghamshire Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner on 07525 406883 or 0115 967 0999 ext 801 2006. Alternatively, email Jackie.firstname.lastname@example.org
