Nottinghamshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Paddy Tipping, and his Deputy, Chris Cutland, are inviting local ladies to have their say on the Draft Police and Crime Plan.
A meeting focusing on the female point of view regarding crime and disorder, has been arranged at St John’s Centre, St John’s Street, Mansfield on Wednesday 6 February, starting at 6pm.
The main focus of the meeting will be based around the Commissioner’s key pledges. Mr Tipping will introduce the plan personally, take questions and seek feedback from attendees.
The Commissioner’s pledges included in this, his first Police and Crime Plan include protecting, supporting and responding to victims, witnesses and vulnerable people; focusing on local areas most affected by crime and disorder; reducing the impact of substance misuse of levels of crime, preventing offending and re-offending, improving the efficiency of criminal justice and spending your money wisely.
Both individuals and representatives from women’s organisations are welcome to attend the forthcoming meeting.
