Commissioner open to questions at County Show

Visitors to the popular Nottinghamshire County Show at Newark on Sunday (12 May) will include Paddy Tipping, Nottinghamshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner.

Members of the public will be able to meet the Commissioner from 1-3pm and ask him questions about his role and his community safety plans for the city and county. Mr Tipping will also be encouraging people to answer HIS questions, particularly surrounding alcohol-related problems. The answers from this will be used to help shape his forthcoming Alcohol Strategy currently under development.

The Commissioner’s presence at the show is part of his community engagement programme designed to enable the public to meet him at different venues around the county.

His team will be available on both Saturday and Sunday next to the Food Experience Marquee along with a team from Nottinghamshire Police.
