An event is being held on Friday 21 November 2014 to reinforce the Force’s stance on Hate Crime.
As Anti-bullying week draws to a close the No Bystanders event will take place at 2pm at Nottinghamshire Fire Service Headquarters in Bestwood Lodge, Arnold.
The event has been organised by Nottinghamshire police in conjunction with Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue.
No Bystanders is charity Stonewall's campaign to tackle bullying and abuse. It includes a video and resources to address what may be seen as low level behaviours which impact on hate crime and on victims.
The event will see a talk from Stonewall addressing the importance of the campaign and how it fits into the wider agenda for LGBT equality within the work place.
Chief Constable Chris Eyre will then call on all Nottinghamshire organisations to sign the pledge and show their commitment to addressing this type of behaviour within our workplace and the community at large.
The video that accompanies the campaign is available here http://nobystanders.org.uk/
