In the latest of his community visits Paddy Tipping will be on walkabout with the local policing team and councillors around St Ann’s which will take place between 9.30am and 11.30am on Friday 26th October.
Starting at the St Ann’s Allotments the walkabout will take in a tour of the Afro Caribbean National Artistic Centre, the Brendan Lawrence Centre where there will be half term activities hosted by Sportswise/Renewal Trust and the Chase Neighbourhood Centre as part of the St. Ann’s week of action.
The event is part of a series of community walkabouts planned by the PCC to get to know Nottinghamshire’s diverse communities better and deliver effective solutions to local problems.
The walkabout, which is open to the public to attend, brings together key agencies to identify opportunities for joint action.
Mr Tipping said: “I am looking forward to getting out and about in St. Anne’s and meeting local people and business owners and to be able to talk through any problems they are experiencing.
“We can then build a picture of the problems specific to the area and ensure everyone who has a part to play in solving them is on board”.
