Creating a multi-agency safe space and expanding CCTV coverage have been recommended as part of an independent report into how to improve safety in Nottingham’s night time economy.
The measures are among ten recommendations outlined as a result of the review, which was commissioned by Police and Crime Commissioner Caroline Henry.
The review sought the views of key stakeholders and used some of the learning from the recent Safer Women at Night initiative that was delivered in partnership.
Commissioner Henry will now be working to engage with key partners to explore joint delivery of the recommendations to keep our beautiful city centre safe for all.
