PCC scrutinises plans to tackle antisocial behaviour

Accountability Board Sept 2023

Plans to improve Nottinghamshire Police’s response to antisocial behaviour were among a number of issues scrutinised by Police and Crime Commissioner Caroline Henry this week.

The force’s use of stop and search and a new model for the use of out-of-court disposals also came under the microscope in the Commissioner’s monthly Accountability Board on Tuesday.

The Accountability Board is a meeting where the Commissioner scrutinises, supports, challenges and holds Nottinghamshire Police’s Chief Constable to account on behalf of the public to ensure efficient and effective policing services are being delivered.

It also allows the Commissioner a forum to monitor the progress of delivering the Police and Crime Plan objectives and to set the strategic direction of local policing services.

The next Accountability Board will be held on 17 October. To see further details of the issues discussed at Accountability Boards, visit Accountability Board (pcc.police.uk)
