VAWG Project Lead

Full Time - Fixed Term

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and experienced Project Lead for Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). The post holder will support the implementation of Nottinghamshire’s VAWG Strategy and the VAWG related work of the Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner, working in close partnership with local authorities, health and criminal justice partners, specialist third sector agencies and VAWG survivors to deliver the strategy and develop and implement the delivery of related VAWG projects.

You will have strong insight into the nature of and issues and challenges in tackling VAWG, including VAWG-related hidden harm; a good practical understanding of what works and does not work in delivering VAWG initiatives; relevant project management experience and will be able to bring an enthusiastic and creative approach. Your communication skills will be excellent and you will have good experience of effective partnership working with a range of stakeholders.

Role type: Full time - fixed term until March 2029

Salary: £40,893.00 to £42,897.00 per annum (pro-rata if part time)

Hours: 37
