Planning and Efficiency Group

The Planning and Efficiency Group is to facilitate strategic, focused and closed-session discussions between the PCC/OPCC and Chief Constable/Force, to:

• provide reassurance to the PCC on the effective and efficient use of Force resources / value for money
• consider issues on the horizon and the strategic direction of the Force
• support the PCC’s setting and annual review of the Police and Crime Plan and the setting of the annual budget and precept in a joined-up way.
